Occupational Therapy

Dear Members

I hope you are all managing to keep the dreaded virus at bay and obeying the government’s instructions on self-isolating. It is hard not being able to meet up with family and friends, however if we can defeat this bug it will be worth it. The latest estimate is that it will continue like this for at least three months so we need to be able to fill our time and not let our minds or bodies waste away.

To that end, Liz Marrs has been doing a great job in collecting and distributing ideas to keep ourselves occupied and it seemed a good idea to put all the suggestions in one place; hence we are collecting them together and publishing them here on the Neston U3A website, which makes them available not only to members but to anybody checking in. Unfortunately it does not help those without access to the web so if you know anybody in that situation please take a copy and pass it on.

Also, please keep the ideas coming in to Liz at elizabethmarrs@hotmail.com and we will continue to publish them.

Here’s wishing you the best possible outcome and hoping to see you in the not too distant future,

Geoff Gibson
(Chairman)
